ANT SHACK’s AntBreeder is a unique, reusable, easy to use yet versatile ant breeding micro formicarium. Its ideal for founding new ant colonies. It can be used with any 16mm diameter test tube and has a unique slide-in system for ultra-easy handling. Just fill some water in the test tube, add the provided cotton and slide the AntBreeder in.
The AntBreeder comes with everything thats needed for immediate use. The slide-on darkening cover protects the ants from light. You can even check the water level without removing the cover.
If you need to change the test tube (depleted water, messy inside), just attach another AntBreeder and wait until the colony moves over.
