Net Neutrality is key to what I do…
What would happen if we lost Net Neutrality?
Free Press jumped in and helped argue the case defending the FCC — and on June 14, 2016, a federal appeals court upheld the open-internet protections in all respects. This was to allow Net Neutrality.
Today this is being challenged. If you are for Free Press please look more in to Net Neutrality.. The First Amendment is key to people like myself. Key to my students who have a right to access the full work of learning and making informed decisions on things they want and learn.
As a blogger Net Neutrality also allows companies to freely share information. If this policy change it would change business was we know it. It would allow anyone to pay a fee to be see early and often. It would allow for small companies to have to work even hard to gain access to their costumers. This would happen through higher costs, and harder access to their livelihood ( consumers)
Net Neutrality do you need it? Yes you do!
This is not about Party Lines this is about access to all that is right and our rights as people who live in the US.
Demand REAL Net Neutrality
The Federal Communications Commission has proposed rules that would allow rampant discrimination online.
You can join me here. !
Under these rules, telecom giants like AT&T, Comcast and Verizon would be able to create a two-tiered Internet, with fast lanes for those who can afford it and dirt roads for the rest of us. These companies would be able to pick winners and losers online and discriminate against online content and applications. And no one would be able to do anything about it.
We must stop the FCC from moving forward with these rules, which would give the green light to ISPs eager to crush Net Neutrality.
Pick up the phone. Call your members of Congress and urge them to demand REAL Net Neutrality.
